Swedish Massage

When a person thinks of receiving a massage they generally think of a Swedish massage.  Swedish massage is the most commonly offered and popular type of massage.  It was pioneered by a Swedish physiologist named Pehr Henrik Ling in the 1700’s.   Swedish massage uses firm but gentle pressure and strokes to promote relaxation, ease muscle tension and create other health benefits.  The main purpose of Swedish massage is to increase the oxygen flow in the blood and release toxins from the muscles.Some benefits of Swedish massage:
